Loved my walk this morning, good to chat to friends. The weekend went way too fast. Am ready for the morning now for work. DD and DGD had a good time at the dancing comp .I spent some quality time with my eldest DGS whilst the youngest one had a sleep.Need to do a check of finances later.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Lots of admin tasks done today involving phone calls. One bank that will remain nameless nearly made me want to close my account .
Had to be involved with the local police today to take paperwork to them to do with work. Trying to get in the station was like getting into Fort Knox . The counter at this particular station has been closed and the yellow phone outside sent me through to 101 , anyway I got let in after 20 mins.Booked a taxi for 3 weeks to the airport , there are 6 of us so needed a minibus , that was relatively easy .Have had a problem returning a parcel , it doesn't seemed to have arrived but they won't investigate for 10 days, after being charged 2.99 for the return I hope I get a refund . I knew there would be a problem when I saw who the return was with. Have to phone back after Monday.Have had the good news of a 7%pay rise backdated to April , so that will be some spending money for next holiday.Think that's it for today.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -
Good news about the pay rise. Still waiting for mine and the promised COL payment, hopefully will be in July's pay.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Good news on the backdated pay riseIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Enjoy the pay rise 👍
It sounds as if you’ve had a lovely time having lunch out and enjoying the weather before it decided to change again.
The new car sounds great too.January spends - £587.581 -
Just a quick pop on here as it's nearly three weeks since I last posted. In a nutshell have spent a lot this month on entertainment, but I have been out with some very good friends , had an especially nice time in the big city with one friend .My parents have taken up a lot of my spare time recently but it was just a temporary thing . Work is very busy , my two days fly by so fast.I have rejigged some of my savings to better interest rates , which will give me more income .
My new to me car has been fine up to now so fingers crossed that's how it is going to stay.Tomorrow I am off to The Canary Islands on a family holiday which I am looking forward to. Just hoping the weather isn't to hot .Need to go and finish packing now.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5
