Work done for the week . Taking mum to an opticians appointment this morning. Then taking the DGC out for the afternoon. Hoping to get some packing done later.
Tomorrow off with parents to visit their friends about 90 minutes away. They are lovely people and I always enjoy seeing them.
Friday I am going to Lake District for two nights , it's my friends birthday so it will be nice to spend sometime with her .
Coming back Sunday lunch, then hopefully getting ready for flying to Majorca Monday afternoon from Liverpool airport.
The new bed and work desk arrived yesterday for spare bedroom , a cube unit needs putting together , some things back on the wall and then that room is finished .
The finances need a going over as well but that will have to be Sunday .
Fingers crossed the weather stays dry.

Wednesday is done, I had a good time with the DGC , won't see them for about 10 days now , which seems like a lifetime .

Sat in a sunny Windermere eating breakfast . Back in my happy place , it’s been too long .
Motorway fairly quiet considering rail strike .
I have managed to bag a car park spot for £1 a day . Cheap for the Lakes , it will stay there now until Sunday . Will just get another ticket tomorrow and Sunday

Woken up to another sunny morning n Windermere . I slept very well for a change , maybe it was the 20, 000 or so steps I did yesterday , combined with the good air.
Calling in to see my friend before I go on the open top bus to Grasmere .
Have a good day , however you spend it.
