Are you no longer following the guidance offered in the opening post of the Template Defence thread?

    Here is a short extract...

The rest is worth following too.
Apologies, I read that to file
in a defence in one of your earlier posts was to follow point 2 in the newbies thread, I must’ve overlooked the info given on the template thread.

Thanks for pointing this out though.

Hi, I’m just finishing off my directions questionnaire, where it asks which court it also asks why I want it there, having looked through a lot of threads I can’t seem to find anything on this answer.

    Because it's your home court.

You've done some searching and reading and found the recent thread by @Grizebeck about the new question and the obvious answer?

Can the DQ be emailed to the same email addresses for the court and parking firm solicitors I used previously for my defence, I received the questionnaire a day before my holiday and will be away on the day it’s due to be returned by.

    Sounds right.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have recently received my court letter and have started writing up my witness statement.

In the mean time I have received an email from dcblegal offering a reduction in the costs to settle out of court.
I’ve read a thread somewhere with the reply along the lines of I am not willing to accept anything other than a charge of £0 to settle, can someone point me in the direction of this post. Or advice on what would be best to reply to this email.

    Thanks in advance

Why bother replying to that email at all?

You say you have received 'my court letter'.
Can tell us what 'my court letter' means.
Does it have a title? What's it about?

I read a while back on another forum that someone replied back to the email and they had the case cancelled.

When I say court letter, I mean the correspondence which has the date to go to court to defend my case etc…..currently away so not sure on the title.

Have you read the following thread, I'm sure you'll find something quite reassuring in it?  You must continue working to the requirements placed on you by the court in order to push Highview/DCB Legal closer towards the discontinuation precipice.
