EV is far superior for mainly short trips - no issues with cars heating up, charging at home/destination means you'll rarely need to visit a petrol station (if ever)
Please give 1 good reason to ever take an EV to the petrol station.

With an EV.  You potentially never need to detour to go and pour flammable liquid into it.
Why would you ever pour flammable liquid into an EV?

    What is the "potentially"?

You wouldn't, that's my point. You don't need to put petrol or diesel in it. It's a huge time saver. I've rephrased my comment to hopefully fend off some pedantic arguing.

Good choice, you won’t regret it and you will love driving it and will probably end up driving a lot more miles than you intended!

    If it's a PHEV ;)
