Just got a letter
notice of allocation to the small claims track hearing for may 2023 for a court date.
they talk about mediation an hour service which is free, should i go for mediation to see what they have to say and say again that I wasnt in the car as I know i wasnt and they have not proved who was in the car0 -
No.The NEWBIES thread already explains why not.
Re-read the section and links under the heading in red IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD2 -
Mediation is pointless.
It goes something like this,
The claimant, "Pay us everything"
You, "No"
End of mediation, except that the court appointed mediator will probably try to bully you into paying some if not all of the claim.

now going to get all the information together for the court date, defence etc and possibly some photos of said car park and signage.1
-
It says in the paperwork to deliver all documents to the other party and the court must include the statements of all witnesses
does this just have to go to the court office which I know of and as I don’t know highway do I send it to their office in London0 -
You send it to the claimant's (Highview - not Highway!) solicitor at the address on the claim form where it says "address for delivery of documents - if different".1
-
Yes high view
no address was given on the court letter0 -
OK, let's take this slowly...
Is there anything in this box on your Claim Form?...
If there is, then that is the address you use.
If there is nothing in that box, then you use the Claimant's address as shown here...
Surely you are not saying that both those boxes are empty?1 -
surely Highway ( as in robbery ) is a better name than Highview?0
