Keith means the issue date on the CCBC claim form.

What a shame you didn't come here sooner as you could probably have got this past the six year deadline from the date of the alleged event, meaning the PPC would have been too late to issue a claim.

That cannot now be helped, but you will get the best advice there is available from now on to help you defend the claim.

    Ok.

Ah really, dam. I did wonder about the six year deadline.

    Thank you

You would have killed this very easily with one or two emails, had you come to us in February.  Now the killing takes more effort!

Don't send a defence to the MCOL website (not even sure that is a thing!) instead follow the advice given by @KeithP here 12 April at 4:42PM <<<<<LINK.  Do not put anything about your defence on MCOL not even a full stop.

    Hi again,

Am I right in thinking the parking charge should be issued to me within 14 days? Is this working days?

I'm afraid it's immaterial as you have already let the cat out of the bag in that context.
Even though I've admitted I was driving
    FWIW - calendar days.

As above.  Irrelevant, when people appeal saying who was driving and thus throw away that 100% winning position.

I'm not sure I have admitted to driving in that email.
There is more than 1 person in the car
If I have inadvertently admitted to driving, what is my defence?

If there is any doubt on your part, but you wish to argue the point, it does risk a Judge asking you whether you were the driver on the day, or not.  You need to think through your likely answer carefully.

Have you read the contents of the Defence Template?  All your defence points (whether as an admitted driver, or not) are there for copying and pasting. Do please (re) read it.

Have you read other Highview threads that have gone beyond the defence stage, because they should include everything you need.

My thinking was, as there is more than 1 person in the car it would be hard to prove who was exiting the carpark. Its a loose case!

I have read lots and lots of defence threads. I think I'm just overwhelmed by the volume! I'll take a break and have a think. I'm peeved about being charged for staying over 21mins when a sale of an expensive item took place.

Thanks for advice. It's very much appreciated
