Easyjet cancelled your flight? Check they refund the right amount!

With all the cancellations by Easyjet over the last 1-2 weeks, a lot of people will be claiming refunds. If they pay out, don't just assume they will give you the right amount.
If you booked flights both ways on one booking, the only way to find out the correct split of the total cost between the two flights is to request a VAT invoice. Only when I did this did I realise they had not given me a full refund. In my case, the refund system apparently showed a different charge for baggage. Customer support could not get access to the VAT invoice, so I had to e-mail it back to them, to convince them they had the wrong figure.
I suggest you do not use their chat system, which seems to be purposely designed to annoy you so much that you give up (unless you are as bloody-minded as me). It terminates the chat if there is no activity for 2 minutes, even if it is the CS staff member who has not replied. While you sit waiting for the CS staff member to reply, you need to type something (a full stop will do) every 100 seconds or so, to keep the chat live.
Instead, probably best to use the Contact Us form, as you can attach a copy of their VAT invoice in the form. This ought to be the easiest way to convince them they have refunded the wrong amount.
