Late flight from Manchester meant I missed my connecting flight

    Westin is right, when you book different airlines for one journey, the risk is entirely yours. There is no link at all between the airline, Pegasus is a privately owned airline, and Sun Express is a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. Your only hope is that your insurance has a section for missed connections, not many have. Many have missed departure but only applies to the first flight from the UK do check as otherwise there is nowhere to go. Credit cards can only help if someone has broken the contract and that is not the case here.

    Please let this be a warning to anyone thinking that booking through a Swedish website on flights with different airlines is a sure way of saving money. I assume you came across them through Skyscanner, be warned the majority of businesses advertising there are doing so because otherwise, you would have never heard of them. Sometimes a local travel agency might be £20 more expensive but they would have booked you a direct flight and not left you with these expenses
