Valli how rubbish to be stuck in a job you dont want to be doing when you have another to go to! Hope they release you early.
I have spent the best part of the afternoon removing NDNs clematis from our fence. It grows very vigorously and covers our side of the fence which we dont mind too much but after it dies back it all has to be cut down, and cut up into pieces to go in the garden waste bin. Still, it was a job that needed doing. Ran the hoover around earlier. Fajitas eaten for tea, tired now.
Need to bring the washing in, have lit the fire, might find my book.
Hope everyone has had a decent Saturday x9 -
As promised the flowers from you lovely flyladies 😘😘

Good morning xx
Lovely flowers Natty xx
I seem to have lost my oomph. Has anyone seen it? It's my belief that there has been a collective loss of flylady oomph. It's not only mine that has gone missing. I'm not surprised given the circumstances that individual flyladies have faced and are facing alongside things like living through a global pandemic, rising prices, war!!! It's enough to make the bravest oomph slip under the duvet.
But I'm missing my oomph. And I'm missing your oomph. So I'm sending out the flylady minibus on an 'OOMPH Revival Tour'. I'm open to suggestions where missing oomphs might be hiding.
My first stop is kaz - there is definitely oomph at her house. I'm wondering if mine got lonely and has gone to kaz's to find a friend. Plus the beach is a good place to start the search. 🙂
Suppose I ought to get dressed first. Brew 2 and breakfast, then clothes. Then a To Do List.
It's a plan.
Love to you all

Mmm....not sure about starting at Kaz's so close to a bank holiday. Traffic might be awful.
Now have you looked in all your cupboards Round?
I'm just having breakfast and will then be walking the dogs, but DH has suggested we both start looking for my oomph in the cupboard of doom when I get back.
I'll report back with progress later.
Well done on the grant
Ionafan.
Have a great day everyone whatever you're doing and wherever you're searching.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Morning all
yesterday i pushed myself to my absolute limit and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. But I also managed to watch a film and not fall asleep. So that's cleared out of the box. Towels etc ready to go out on the line.
I need to construct a job list. I would quite like to get out into the garden and start my frequent attacks on the couch grass. I seem to manage control, I doubt elimination will ever be achieved. Thank you Jazee ❤ You made my heart lift xx I must admit it hadn't occurred to me to look in the Cupboard of Doom. I feel I should get the bits you can see in order, before I start on the 'hidden' assets so to speak....and then there are the two RoDs to search too. Ooops there goes a little more oomph 💨 🤣
I'm dressed, made my bed, fed the birds, topped up the bird bath, put out the recycling, ordered my repeat prescription and pegged out the washing. Oomph is definitely available when I am pegging out washing. In the sun. Listening to the birds. Matching my pegs. I was very daring: I pegged a pair of socks with odd pegs!!! Get me being a rebel 🤪
Have a good day my lovelies

I also found my oomph outside on the dog walk. It's the most glorious day so instead of sorting the CoD I'm going for another walk shortly with DH, then I'm going to wash DHs car and do some gardening.
Dry washing is away, dailies are done.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
The flowers look lovely, Natty x
WMx2 (one done yesterday afternoon, the other early this morning) were out on the line by 8.15, and I've just brought everything in, already dry, to avoid them getting smoked by all the barbecues that are likely to happen on such a glorious day. I think that's used up most of my Flying oomph for the day.
I have some work to do, but it is only designing and printing a leaflet, 2 sides of A4, triple folded, and I have already got the basic content sorted. I might make a start but leave the printing until tomorrow - which will allow me to proofread once more and/or change my mind - and take Rosie and DH out for a walk on the common this afternoon. DH owes me an ice cream and the van is always there, even in the depths of winter!
The trees on the opposite side of the lane, which I can see beyond my computer, are all greening up beautifully, and even the oak trees are visibly in bud. I have primroses in my garden too, Valli
See you all later on the new thread - enjoy the rest of the day and don't work too hard xxx9 -

Washing on line; maidenful of ironing done. 3rd (THIRD) set of data sheets prepped as have to be sent home after the hols. And there will be reports. Another reason I am retiring...because all this data is generated by testing...again and again and again.
