Hi all

Paid stuff done, and I have been out on the bike.  Very cold and blustery out there.  I was wiped out by the end.

Going to finish my book as I went to sleep last night before I managed to read the last chapter.  Then I might give the kitchen units and tiles a wipe down.

I have clean the outside of all the windows, the rain marks and sahara  sand have all gone for now at least.

Kitchen batch cooking done that has needed doing for two weeks - at last.  Two loads through the WM, some stuff dangled and dragged back in because of  hail and then showers but progress made on Mount Washmore now I've got a bit more energy.

tuna pasta for dinner.. or curly fries and sausages/chicken bunnies depending on who gets what.

Pixies and Dots packing done.. Squeak in charge of doing her own though her trousers are out on the line. Mine is not done, nor is OH's..

Thank you to everyone on here, you've reduced me to a purple puddle. The flowers have just arrived and they are gorgeous. I'll take a photo of them later, when Kiwi isn't in the area..lol, and pop it on here 🥰🥰

Some progress today:
- hoovered upstairs
- cleaned the bathroom
- hoovered the LR
- S&S'd the kitchen and ran DW
- tidied the utility before the plumber came to service the boiler
- paid a couple of bills
- paid cheques into the bank via the PO
- took Rosie for one of our longer walks
- went to choir practice this evening.

And the best moment was when I opened an email and discovered that our church has been awarded the full grant that I had applied for, for the coming year   - a miracle, bearing in mind that I threw the application together in less than 24 hours!

Still got lots to do tomorrow, though.

Today I need to:
-dye hair

-water HP and garden 
-finish packing 
-eat up anything that won't last - lunch soup, dinner curry

Sorry I have been MIA...two days at the paid stuff left me completely drained.  Thursday night in bed by 9; last night fell asleep watching Mastercheff.

And no proper decision made as to when I can go.  I *may* be allowed to retire at half term.

Unfortunately teachers' contracts tend to match the school year, There are dates by which notice must be in if you want to leave at the end of a term; notice going in now means leaving at the end of the school year, and must be in be the end of May for that.  But Governing bodies can vary the term of notice.
