Quick update:
Today I aspire to
- pay some church bills
- dust and hoover through downstairs
- strip DH's bed
- do WMx3 and hang out, hoping the rain keeps off
- deliver DH to SW and collect him afterwards
- send various emails to various people
- ring the opticians - [add] and the plumber
- walk Rosie
- mow and edge the lawn
- put out the bins - almost done, just waiting for DH to bring out his rubbish from the man cave
- start looking at car insurance (but I'll take care to keep my paper driving licence well away from the shredder!)
Better get breakfast first...

Hi ladies,
Budget done, animals seen to, fire lit. It is sideways raining here and heavy wind. Seedlings checked on windowsills.
Dizzy if you are reading please check in I have been wondering how you are xx8 -

Sink etc scrubbed, kitchen floor swept and washed, fronts of cupboards and oven wiped over.Tomato plants shifted about from the mini plastic greenhouse to next to the walls. Other tomato plants will be moved into the mini greenhouse later. Lots of pots watered again. I wish it would rain. Apart from a bit of lazy drizzle on one day we haven't had any rain for well over three weeks. I'm getting worried about the pear and apple trees.Better is good enough.9

Round hope today went OK. And yes, we need to hear from Dizzy.
Still feeling a bit out of sorts, couldnt settle to anything at the paid stuff. Back in the office tomorrow so hope its a better day.
Been to the dentist (all OK), 3 loads of washing done and dried outside, hoovered through and made a casserole for tea. Cold here, debating whether to put heating on for a bit.9 -
Narc0lepsy said:Tomorrow's plan:
- go for a run
- help load Ukraine lorry
- crack on with reports, prepare paperwork for Weds.
- start piling up planned holiday clothes; could be anything from snow to heat.....
- start writing the birthday cards
- catch up with some admin; there are too many flagged emails.
Any suggestions how I can lose a stone in 3 days?..........
Let's hope the forthcoming week is gentle and kind to everyone.
- 1 load in WM, dried, put away (thanks Mr N)
- 1 full report left but the student isn't expecting it before the Easter break. I am part way through the penultimate one, stand a chance of finishing it tonight/tomorrow morning if I'm lucky.
- All holiday clothes piled (neatly) in spare room; Mr N has kindly offered to pack while I work. Of course I put the important stuff - wetsuit, swimming gear and gym stuff - in a separate bag.
- One birthday card posted, others and Easter card poised, we can post them from Mum's.
- Had a team effort trying to use up what is left in the fridge and veg drawer; I hate waste but we bought quite a lot for the - weekend because of visitors. I made a cheese and vegetable bake for dinner which was lovely, haven't made one for a long time. Mr N did a load more veg, mashed and froze them. Will have a final look and plan tomorrow.
- let neighbour know we are going away. Will do a final greenhouse check tomorrow in case she needs to water seedlings but there aren't too many up yet.
- booked Harv£ster for Fri eve; will be a celebration of Mother's day, BIL birthday and my birthday so looks like Mr N needs to be paying!!
Flying was all thankfully done in preparation for the weekend visitors so the place isn't bad.
Tomorrow's plan:
run
finish report
put toiletries bag together
check fridge/food drawer
check greenhouse
gather together chargers, camera etc
can't think what else at present.
go to work at 1pm and hope it's a fast working student.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10
