EDF for one. Submitted readings by mobile app. Took photos. All you can do, but surely no coincidence.

    What's the point? Millions of people are trying to submit meter readings and it's inevitable that websites will buckle under that.

    British Gas website not responding.

    I got onto the EDF website a few minutes ago.  It said there was a server fault when I was logging in.  Just did a refresh and I was in.  I managed to submit my readings OK.

    No need to submit readings today. As long as you've taken reading today and have photo to prove that should be sufficient
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

    Shell Energy. It's been down for a while for me and saying 'Service Unavailable'. Just got to the login page and now it just says 'Loading...' for several minutes and then 'Page can't be found'!

    Today is the wrong day to do this in a lot of cases, as the suppliers tend to take the reading as the closing reading for the preceding day, so for some it should be tomorrow, and for anyone with Octopus it should be Saturday as they do not increase until then.
    Check a previous bill and see which date they recorded your last reading...

    What bill? It's been months since I was switched to Shell which wasn't my choice and I don't have a proper bill yet!

    Scottish power website down, blank page on Chrome, Edge, IE, Safari, using internet also trying from 5G.
