Thought this might interest a few OSers.

Amazon currently have the Panasonic SD254 Breadmaker on offer at half price with delivery in time for Christmas.
This is the older model without the nut dispenser but a brilliant bargain at £39.99.
Was going to post this on the Grabbit Board but thought I'd give the real bakers a chance before the ebay sellers order them all!
I've treated myself to one from my hubby (He's in bed so I'll tell him tomorrow!!

I just went to post this one, and noticed you beat me to it - it's an excellent find, unfortunately they increased the price of the SD255 from £80 to £99, but this breadmaker is an absolute steal, one of the best on the market :beer:0

I've been toying with the idea of buying one for over a year but couldn't justify the cost.
This certainly made up my mind!!:j New Year, New You = 1.5lb/12lb:j0 -
Thanks for that, managed to order one for hubby to buy me for Christmas.0

phew! I'm pleased this post is over here aswell as grabbit. Just wanted to check that this is one of the panasonic breadmakers that most old stylers think are the best.:TI also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you
would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

I ordered it yesterday morning at the old price but after a phone call they have refunde me the £20 difference, and it was despatched yesterday delivery is on Monday 17th, I have an Asda brand one at the moment but have never had good results with wholemeal so I have been toying with the idea of buying this one for ages, so I am well pleased cant wait to try it out0

I too have wanted one for ages although my old breville is quite good but this offer has persuaded me to go for it and I'm so excited, can't wait for it to get here!! Thanks to everyone who's posted the details.0

Argghhhh!!! The temptation! I really want to SD 255 as it has the nut dispenser, although do I really need it? I'm panicking now....0

Grrrhh! Damn you people! Somehow a board entitled Money Saving Expert has managed to convince me to part with £40 on a breadmaker! I could argue that it has saved me £60, as the SD255 costs £100.0

I'm def interested in this too altho not sure my waistline could stand it
Can I ask the dimensions of this? It looks quite big in the picture and we have limited space in the kitchen....still very tempted though.
BTW don't forget, triple nectar points if you go via nectar estores

Oh dear kazzaw, I don't know whether to kiss you or slap you:rotfl: :rotfl:
I only meant to look, but somehow I logged into my amazon account, and then my mouse hovered and before I knew it I'd ordered one!! And I'm not at all sure I've got any where to put it, but what the hell, have a:kisses3: anyway:D Ooooooh I'm all excited. I know I should have stuck with making bread by hand, but I don't get myself organised often enough, so it is a valid purchase ( keep saying it enough and it will be true;) )
Anyway thanks, and I'll blame you if it all goes pear-shaped:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
