When you add the card to Google pay on the second phone, it prompts to open / install the chase app. At that point you can open the chase app on the original phone and approve the card being added.

There are no details on the card, you'll need to get those from the app. I'm sure once you can login to the app you'll be able to add the card to GPay without having it physically.

Exactly this. I don't yet have my card. Both my wife and I now have it in Google Pay having added it manually.

You can get the card number by tapping the card at the top of the app and selecting "see details".

How did you do it? Because i've just gone to do it & now i'm having trouble.

So i add it manually to my wifes phone but it wants to then open the app (on her phone). Bit of a nuisance.

Install the app, put in my details & job done. Everything good to go on her phone so I then uninstall the app.

Go to log in on the app on MY phone & it's then talking about being on another device.

I shut the app down & try log in again & now it just keeps saying incorrect details.

Thanks. I thought you needed to have it on the second phone when it said that. Fixed it in the end.

We went out for something to eat yesterday & my wife ordered the food via her phone but then it wanted verifying which triggered my phone. Got it sorted though.

What she doesn't like though is it tells me exactly how much has been spent and where via notifications! Lol. to be fair, i don't like it either and keep meaning to turn that off.

What I have noticed is I keep going to pay and every now & then it'll trigger on the card reader "card not supported" but on the second attempt it then works.

Has anyone managed to get Chase debit cashback for renewing Road Tax or VED as not sure if DVLA is included in the Exclusions list?

Tax is in the exclusion list, so will most likely be excluded.

One thing to note with Chase is that if your phone is a couple of years old, Chase may refuse it (well, they did with mine, anyway). Samsung, Android 10, up to date, all other banking apps - and I have lots - work on it). 

Your phone, is it Samsung with less than 4gb of ram ?.
It seams to only work on 64bit android and phones, phones with less than 4gb are 32bit android.
Works on iPhones and IPads, I use iPad personally for the account access and pay with phone.

Not sure how you would do this but have seen similar posts on here where people add to it.

Amazon gives cash back, supermarkets yes, I even got it on my rent payment as they use a third party to collect it.
