Second day in a row with negative test, so I am officially FREE!
I have my vaccination certificate from NHS pass.
I think all I need to do then is the self-declaration online on Saturday before travelling on Sunday to get into Spain.
To come home, I think there is nothing anymore we need to do from a COVID perspective.0 -
They seem to have changed the rules so all that is required is to be fully vaccinated - no need to do the SPTH form / declaration.
Can't wait to go0 -
I'm pleased to say that I travelled to Spain and they let me in 😎2

If you have the EU Covid Digital Certificate (the NHS one counts) then you don’t need to do the Spth0

And there is nothing to do for your return now, like travelling in early 2020 again. I came in from Poland on the day the PLF etc requirements were dropped and it was a painless experience except going onto a domestic stand during the final wave rush at Stansted. I'd self-tested at the hostel with a 6zl test before going to the airport but was under no obligation to, it was mainly for peace of mind as I'd been in the company of many people.

I did need the NHS COVID Pass which was checked by the airline before I could check in (before I could complete online check in).
I carried a printed copy of the NHS COVID Pass, but understand a copy on the phone could be used. I just prefer the paper copy because the battery can't run out on a sheet of paper.
On arrival in Spain, every individual was manually checked at passport control and passport stamped. The process was very quick.
If you did not have the NHS COVID Pass, you needed the SpTH and were directed a different route on arrival.1 -
I can scarcely believe this, so I'll ask here: for a trip to Spain now, all I need to do is show my NHS digital Covid pass? So I could have Covid (according to the latest ONS statistics, 1 in 17 people in England have it at the moment) and still travel? With no tests? And no masks in the airport or plane, in Spain or the UK? If I catch it on the outbound journey, and spend half my holiday in bed, can I still return as planned without the need for tests or isolation?
