As has been discussed before this is not correct, albeit that the O2 page says so. Provided you make a chargeable event (call, sms or data) every six months the SIM will not be deactivated. I speak from experience as we have three of them in this household.

The SIM's are still available on Ebay and the registration/top up works fine.

Got the RWG SIM, inserted it into my phone, and... Phone Restricted.

What do I do now?

edit: Managed to unlock it... I think.

edit: Rang the landline as a trial, and it worked!
