Just got Cifas Marker removed

Sorry - i should have clarified - it could be that Cifas calls are realtime, but updates to their database from the bank are less frequent (that would be the banks decision whether to batch update periodically. Many have old systems eg. mainframe based).
This is a guess though, I dont work for them or closely with them, my experience is just with some credit agencies.

Did anyone ever find out how long the removal takes? I've just had a marker flagged for removal, but it seems that while additions to the register are immediate, no one knows how long removal takes. Santander are telling me the marker is still there.0
