so you can check and add your email address there and see if you have any luck that way

  • Brilliant! My first mailshot, and my first bargain.

Went to Chester Boots last night, although they had some cameras (most tempting was the one Ixus II for £149) they didn't have any I really wanted.

So I went to the Boots in Cheshire Oaks and was delighted to find a Minolta DiMAGE Z1 on display at £114. After much faffing about (although they were always very friendly) the staff finally worked out the display model was the only one left - so I took that with another 10% off!

So £103 for a good quality 3.2mp camera with a 10x Optical zoom. Result!

    Thanks for pointing this out!

Just been to Boots in Bradford, nothing much left. But the helpfull assistant told me that yesterday the Huddersfield branch had been ringing round stores to transfer stock. Maybe worth trying there!

I've just got the Dimage Z10 from Romford for £89.99 and paid with my Boots points.

My only complaint was that I had to have one from display as they are down to their last cameras and they wouldn't give me any discount, they said I could have 10% if i forfeited any guarantee!! Absolute nonsense and I am writing to copmplain but I couldn't budge them in the shop and didn't want to walk away as there was another person browsing who was interested in the same camera.

Incidentally, if anyone is after the £74.99 camcorder they are showing 7 in stock.

    Soo

I got the ixus i for £70 as it was the last one there,, and it is very small just measured mine and it is 3.5 inches long 2 inches high and just over half an inch wide.

it is a great little camera, the memory cards are really cheap for it as well if you buy them off the internet. I have also found it very easy to use and the digital zoom is good to.

    HTH :)
