Help, I put my 6gb player in my work bag today and my coffee flask has leaked and coffee has got inside the player. I cant see where to take it apart.( My hubby will be very cross as I recently got calpol in my mobile phone whilst using it for a torch to give my little boy calpol during the night.)
Am I going to have to bin the player?

Don't switch it on, dry it off as best you can from the outside and leave it somewhere warmish to dry out for a day or two- not as warm as on a radiator, but perhaps a shelf next to one.

Stick it in the airing cupboard and forget it for a week. Don't be tempted to switch it on.
I have been lucky a couple of times doing this.

I read this tip on the weekend in terms of getting your mobile phone wet and apparently it works. Stick your player in a bag of rice (I think two days was the recommended time).
