Just to say I reduced my £54/month to £25 by being upset at how much they charge compared to new customers.
Worth getting upset with them, as they dont tell you when you just rollover to the higher price after the initial 18 months.
Threatened to buy a starlink and share it with the neighbours. (£75/Month)

well here we are again 4 years later! - gigaclear still the only game in our neighbourhood. been paying £47/mo for 400mbps but our 18month contract came up again - they wanted to set us to £62!!
Gave them a ring and they were very friendly and immediately offered us to go back to £47, but then revealed that as we were approx 5 years customer they also have a VIP discount so 400mbps for £42. that'll do us! So don't forget to ask for a VIP discount if you're a few years in :D
I asked ("for a friend") about coming off and then going on again after a few months of mobile to get 'new customer' deals - they said if the person's details are on the file they wouldn't offer new customer deals but would offer a better discount - so worth a try. It's based on what details they have so if you put it in a different name I suspect you could be a 'new customer'…
