    Okay thanks.

However I was specifically adressing @friolento suggesting surprise that they would not be tempted by an offer of a £9.00 subscription for two years.

I have updated my subscription for two years but have a couple of points that may help others.

    1. The offer is valid until 30 June 2024 but my new subscription expires on 15 May 2026. You may therefore wish to delay subscribing for a couple of weeks.
    2. When I verified my payment on my bank app it comes up as a payment to Cleverbridge AG. However, after making the payment it now shows as a pending payment to CBA*malwarebytes.com.

I'm currently running my freebie MWB Premium on a couple of laptops and 6 Android devices (I know, waste of time but it's free).

The discounted renewal form says £4.50/£9.00 for a single device, 2 is £6/12 etc.

Is this a change to the subscription model? My current licence is good for 10 devices says the dashboard.

Anyways, paying £15/30 is a lot less attractive than £4.50/£9.00. If I forgo the phones/tablets it's still a hike.

Anyone tried running a new single device licence on 2 or more devices?

It won't work - they're 'phoning home' the whole time, and will insist you free up license slots or buy more.

Didn't they break their own terms on this one, lol? I literally checked the other week to see if this was continuing because I noticed my malwarebyes tell me the sub was expiring, and I saw nothing to suggest it was ending so I assume it would just be rewned due to this:
If we decide not to renew our arrangement with Malwarebytes, your licence will not be renewed at its next annual renewal date (unless you agree with Malwarebytes that you will pay the renewal fee directly). You will be given at least three month’s notice if this happens.
I've not even received the email yet about it despite using the offer.

Not sure I'll continue. I have a few devices with it installed, so I'd have to pay more.

Edit: I should probably include the link where that quote was from: https://www.natwest.com/fraud-and-security/malwarebytes/terms.html

Two lines above the paragraph you quote

    Duration of Licence

    • This licence expires in May 2024 unless we tell you otherwise.

Yes, but that doesn't contradict what I just quoted, if anything what I quoted extends it. It stated if they decide not to renew their agreement with Malwarebytes(which is what has happened here), the license will not be rewned at renewal and you will be given at least 3 months notice.

It's whatever anyway, as I don't care that much, I found it funny more than anything.
