HERMES / EVRI HOW TO COMPLAIN DIRECT TO CEO

  • Why the blatant lies?
Amazon delivery was fine, maybe because Amazon were astute enough to send a 6 digit code for us to present to the Evri courier before they could leave the goods. The goods were faulty and the package heavy so Amazon arranged collection.

We have had two cases on the tracking app of "your friendly local courier tried to collect your parcel today but you weren't in...." (22nd July 2022 at 17:13 and 25th July 2022 at 18:07). We know these are untrue, because,
    -we were at home
    -no card was left
-there is no record on the CCTV (continuously recording) - evidence available and the CCTV coverage of our large frontage is excellent.

Life's a drag for many of us and being a courier must be hard, but what is the justification for lying? Is there a financial benefit to "not at home" calls? .... That would be fraud then, wouldn't it?

Chelmsford couriers, you know who you are. Being as Evri are not contactable on line I have put pen to paper to their head office address but do not anticipate a reply.

The financial benefit is not using fuel/time going to a location they weren't going to that day.
They close off the tracks they have to. common with all carrier pda systems
If Amazon arranged collection. You are not Evris customer.

My £180 order, delivered by Evri just before Xmas last year, was delivered to number 2 (I'm number 22).

I use the term 'delivered' loosely - it was actually thrown over their rear garden fence.
As nothing was left informing them it had been delivered, and they weren't expecting any parcel, it sat in the garden for over 3 weeks - in the rain and snow.

Fortunately the guys at number 2 finally found it and recognised my name.

When I finally received it, it was soaked through.

    Thanks Evri!!

Sending a parcel RM vs Evri is a no brainer RM win every time....comparing prices on both sites Evri tries to look cheaper but ends up more expensive by the time its added to basket, the £2.69 parcel is only postable whereas RM up to 2kg is £2.85 online
  • Hi,
I’m having the same issues as spid_mse

I had a parcel delivered by Amazon 31st Aug and contacted them the day after to arrange a return, Thurs 1st Sept.

Printed the returns label which said it would be collected the “next working day” if arranged before 11PM which it was, set for Friday 2nd Sept. It also advised a collection window of between 08:00 and 20:00 with no advanced warning of when the driver might attend.

Checked tracking Monday 5th Sept to be told “our local friendly driver tried to collect on Sat (not a working day but hey ho!) 3rd Sept 15:12 but was unable to collect.

I was home, I have a cast on my leg at present and have been unable to leave the house for the last week or so.

I also have a hypersensitive dog that freaks out every time anyone passes the top of the drive. let alone rings or knocks at the door!

Checked the CCTV and no one came to the door

    No card left

I’ve even contacted Amazon ,to ask their advice, but as yet had no reply

Spent the last couple of days ringing a series of EVRI phone numbers, including ‘Head Office’ in Leeds, which had an answer machine message advising they were closed (13;00 Wednesday, which is a working day).

The same Automated responses to emails and on line chat advising my parcel will be collected the nest working day, 3 days later still nothing. There was a suggestion I may want to drop it off a ]t a local collection point, but given the size, weight of the parcel and my current incapacitation that’s not an option.

I have sent a polite email to the CEO asking if he could look into this on my behalf and offered my assistance if he needs advice on the operational management of a courier service but suspect he may decline my offer.

My issue is that the returns policy on Amazon says the item has to be returned by 6th October, what happens then,  do I become liable?

Sorry for the rant and thanks for any advice

    Why are you ringing Evri?
    You are Amazons customer.
  • Yup, having read your comment and thanks for the heads up on that.
I backed up my email to Amazon with a phone call about an hour ago.
Initial suggestion was for to arrange my own return and claim a refund from Amazon!
declined this offer and they have now submitted a second request to Everi.
interestingly a comment was made about how many complaints they receive about Everi and why they are still using them.
    Fingers crossed for tomorrow !

They use them because they are cheap and people demand cheaper/free postage.
Customers continue to use sellers who use them. Yet malign them when let down
  • Why have admin removed the email address :o(   does anyone know it as there is absolutely no way to get hold of anyone at EVRI, abysmal service, no way to chat, email or phone anyone, just an automated chat bot that won't let you get anywhere just go round in circles!  no way to complain, - does anyone know how to get hold of anyone, or can provide the email for the CEO please.  My parcel has sat saying they have it for 5 days, on their website it says contact us if it hasn't moved in 24 hours, errr,,, how exactly?  the only contact is the chat bot that just says yep we've got it and it's not moved for 5 days!

Put "CEO Evri email address" into Google and you'll find it.
