    Goodafternoon All.
I have received a letter from dcblegal stating their Client ( Highview Parking Limited ) intends to proceed with the claim.
They also then go on to state their client may be prepared to settle this case!!
However also as an enclosure ,is   a Directions questionnaire  completed by,or on behalf of HPL  that suggests Settlement / mediation  etc..
This is a form N180.  There is no date on this form , although it says "You should note the date by which this questionnaire must be returned  and the name of the court it should be returned to since this may be different from the court where the proceedings were issued."
My question is  , what do I do next , as this looks like an original signed by DCB Legal Ltd ??

You continue to follow the 12 step guide to court written by bargepole from the second post of the NEWBIES.

Do not fill in the N180 sent by the claimant because it will be part filled in with information to your detriment.
Either wait for the N180 to arrive from the court, or download one yourself, fill it in, and send it off.

This is fully explained in the 12 steps in the first post of the Template Defence thread you were following.

    Morning,
I went back and reviewed Bargepoles  advice, apologies for not keeping up to speed !
As a consequence I rang the Court to explain  I had received the Claimants completed N180  ,but had not received my same form from the court.
The Clerk informed me that we were not at that point yet as the case had been "stayed", as the Claimants had not yet filed their
defence. ( Do they get a month to respond??)
The Clerk also pointed out the Court did not have a submission of the Claimants N180, and was surprised I had a copy before the Court.
I asked for her to e mail me an N180 form , which she kindly did .
I will complete the form as per  Bargepole instructions.
I would appreciate if anyone could explain what" stayed  "means  regarding the process

It means nothing - just that they are waiting for the Claimant to confirm they are proceeding, which they will.

To spank or not to spank DCBL in court. that is the question dear friend

Far too risky for DCBL so they chicken out .... AGAIN :D

    Hello Fine Fighters,

    ANOTHER DISCONTINUANCE!

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?

Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens.

Sorry if you knew all this already - I had no time to check back through the thread.
