The new CoP can't be applied to signs retrospectively but the CRA 2015 applied all along.  The template already covers this aspect, and the fake added 'costs' that no Judge is likely to allow, given the Govt steer.

Only put this as a fact if it's true:
The Defendant was Not the Driver of the vehicle

    Afternoon .
I have submitted Defence to CCBC and received an Auto response of acknowledgement.
What I cant find is the E mail address for dcb legal.I have  looked through their website but to no avail.
All their contact details are by phone ..or am I missing something ?
Do i need to send my Defence to them (dcblegal)  directly  or will the Court ?

Our advice of late has been to send a copy to the claimant as it is a requirement of the Civil Procedure rules.  Our previous advice has been to send to CCBC only and they will send it to claimant.  There was a period around the turn of the year where defences were being missed by CCBC.  There should be an address on the claim form for service of documents - it might be a postal address.  E-mail addresses that we know work are laura@dcblegal.co.uk and paul@dcblegal.co.uk and sometimes info@dcblegal.co.uk

Ok  , I wonder if I send E mails to Laura ,Paul and Info  ,then a  postal copy to the address given , that I will have covered all bases?
Or is that overload . ... will they sign for a posted copy though, or should I use snail mail  on the assumption it will be delivered /received and not binned ?

Don't use signed for.  If they cannot be bothered to give defendants a proper e-mail address when, in this modern age we use electronic communications, they deserve to get it to several different people, you need to look after you, not them!

I was on their website trying to find an email address but to no avail. The whole team are there but no email addresses how convenient. The hilarity continues as within the 'Contact Us' section for Defendant Response its a form that you need to fill in; no where to upload the defence letter! I sent my letter to info@dcblegal.co.uk and I have stuck a copy in the post to them. I did however receive a letter from the Coutrs/Tribunal saying that they would serve a copy of the defence on the claimant.
Maybe as Le_Kirk says send to all, no harm really.

I wouldn't waste your money posting a copy.

Paul@ and info@ has definitely reached them.  And you don't even have to do it, this is already belt & braces.
