GERS you may have started something on here, perhaps we could start an online petition for stores to bring back bras that are not molded or wired. I'm another who dislikes them and doesn't need extra padding. A few years back M & S did a style called Fleur which was perfect for me, then in their wisdom they discontinued it. Grr! It's a repeat of the days when the only jeans you could get were low slung hipster styles. Gradually the stores realised we are not all trendy young things constantly hoisting their jeans up and high waisted jeans made a come back.
I appear to have slipped into messing about mode here so must get moving - albeit at snail's pace.. TAFF fingers crossed your OH keeps the Covid to himself. Cases are certainly on the up here says the Look North newsreader. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -

IzzyBee said:Morning everyone thanks for your lovely thoughts unfortunately it didn’t go well yesterday they couldn’t unblock them and he gave me an option to have a operation they are blocked in the tubes behind my nose and they have to insert very fine tubes and they stay in for 3 months and then you go and have another operation to remove them and hopefully they will stay open but I had a choice of hospitals and if I went to Sunderland he would be the one that would be carrying out the operation and he said if it was up to him it isn’t often very successful especially as mine have been blocked for so long and I would probably have to have it done again in a few years but it was up to me weather I wanted to take the chance I have decided not to bother you can’t sneeze or they snap and that is it they are no good and have to be removed I have sneezed twice while writing this so if I had had a operation yesterday it would have been no good today so if you see a woman with a tissue in her hand constantly wiping her eyes it’s me .nice bright morning here I’m at work this morning then I am off until Monday I need to call for a bit of shopping I have got washing on the line it should dry hugs to those that need them thinking of all the poorlies have a good day everyone whatever you are doing13

Morning all, well it's dry but the expected ( hoped for ) sunshine hasn't appeared..... and neither has the builder 😧, he's coming tomorrow now and here was I was hoping to get the drive finished by the weekend, now it'll be Tuesday ! Oh well worse things are happening in the world so I should put it into perspective I suppose.
I have no plans for today except change the ironing board cover for the new one I bought yesterday, some people buy champagne and Gucc* handbags and I bought a new ironing board cover and a frying pan 🤣 Oh I know how to live !
I too have the same problem with bras as I don't like the padded ones either, I have enough of my own thank you ! The wired ones always dig in too so I have been following the type I like from shop to shop as and when they were discontinued, M&s to Tesco and now to Mat*lan. But it's hit and miss if they are in stock in my size, so I try to buy 2 or 3 at a time.
Tea tonight will be garlic and herb salmon with veg for me, himself will have breaded chicken and oven chips. I'm really finding it hard to loose some weigh this time 🤔
Lady H thanks for that, I had a grey Burmese who never left my side and a ginger tom, who I only saw at food time or to bring me presents 😖 They were all dead ones and he would sit he was so proudly looking at me, then at the present and back again ! Broke my heart when they went so I have never had any others.
Izzy so sorry that you didn't get the outcome you needed yesterday. Hugs
taff if your DH has given the Sandman covid too there'll be ructions 🤣 Hope his symptoms are mild and you don't succumb.
Snoozer Happy Birthday 🎂 Have a lovely day.
Nels thinking of you.
NRA hope you are ok
Better get on pottering about I suppose, just going to have a coffee while I decide where to start 😂
Take acre all, stay safe and well
nan xx

Happy Birthday Snoozer - and many more. Perhaps you'll have some cake and a little fizz later.Izzy - what a shame about your eye problems, I agree that there's not much point having any surgery if success is only an outside chance. The bra discussion...I'd like underwired, non-padded and white without lace trimmings or a fancy crossover fitting. Just like I've comfortably worn for years and years. Whilst I can appreciate the really old type they are not for me, neither are the microfibre moulded cups. I thought that my needs were simple, seems not! A definite Grr from me too! The hunt goes on, JL have some though I'm not as sure of their sizing as I am with M&S. Maybe I'm stuck in my old ways and need to 'embrace change'.The sunny bright morning lasted for only about 20 minutes after I posted, then the dark rainy and windy morning took over.I really haven't done too much yet apart from surf the net getting more and more irritated so I'll stop that and be more productive.

Morning everyone
Just a quickie as I've spent too long talking to a nice lady called Mary at Sky - why is it everything is going up? Managed to get it down a little but have to phone in May to try to get the broadband down a bit more.
Izzy - sorry they can't help you - it sounds very irritating
Snoozer - happy birthday - hope you have a lovely day
Taff - hope your hubby is ok
Gers - I've bought new M and S bras on Ebay - I like beige or cream ones but don't want to buy a pack of two with one beige and one another colour.
Must do a couple of jobs before I go to work. Lovely and bright and sunny here but quite windy - hope my bike gets me down the hill!
Have a good day everyone. Take care x14 -
Good morning all, and Happy Birthday to all celebrating today Hope yours is a good one Snoozer.
Just hung a line of washing out for a blow in the sunshine .my little corner of Kent has bright sunshine , and a cloudless skyI'm just about to make a big pot of chilli, as I dug out some mince from the iceberg that's in my freezer and defrosted it overnight . I will also make some peanut butter cookies from the dough dug out fromthe freezer at the same time . No shopping needed this week at all, so I want to concentrate on some baking and cooking as my DGS Henry is home this weekend from Uni for a week or so. he is a 6 foot skinny lad who can eat as an olympic sport and not gain an ounce. Lifes so unfair at times
As the weather is nice I may take myself off to the park for a wander, and see how Mrs Duck and her brood of four chicks are coming along.
Have a great day everyone spring is virtually here
