No loathing here! :D

You reported today (21/10/04 - the latest that your bills should have arrived through the post to give 10 days notice before your DD will be taken):
So in fact you agree with what I have to say - the bills regularly arrive late, giving their members little time to ensure the funds are available.
(You are fortunate to be also able to get your bill via the internet - this system is not available to everyone! Only those with internet access)
But you missed the main point - this month the bills are both late and incorrect.
The point that I was making was to alert their "members" that they can't rely on the bills being accurate when they eventually arrive.
oh. come on, surely you're splitting hairs now. My posted bill arrived today 22nd, ( 9 days before payment is taken. would have been 10 days, but 31st is a Sunday). Mine are always correct because I supply monthly meter readings ( and you don't have to have internet access for that!)0 -

What a fantastic postal service you have down your way, Hansi!
(And your bill was correct as well - you do get special treatment!)0 -
How rude! No, I am not a posty and yes, I do receive my bills. I'm not going to post on this board again if I'm going to get abused!0

How is my post either rude or abusive?
Any abuse is coming from you calling me "rude", but I'm neither complaining nor biting!0 -

Eh, Freddie does not use DD. Settlement of accounts in England is 28 days from issue of the Bill. This is set in statute law and cannot be ammended (Time in memorium I think). How come people who use DD allow bill issuers to abuse this enshrined right!!
I recieved my NPower invoice dated 13th October. Electronic payment from my bank will be on 5th November. Yes, I do pay the same rate as DD customers and recieve discount for Duel Fuel.0 -
Wow an Npower customer who acually gets a dd discount... thats a new one on me. Is it the full £50?
Your still with Npower? Even after their price rise?Beware the green?0 -
I know I've been harping on about OFT referrals, injunctions, fines and prison and such-like - but to get it into perspective, the number of ASA complaints about Telecom Plus pales into insignificance beside big household names like British Gas, BT and NTL. So I don't think that the OFT referral is going to happen any time soon. I personally believe that custodial sentences would be a bit of an overkill right now.
Smart saysAny abuse is coming from you calling me "rude", but I'm neither complaining nor biting! Please do not libel anyone. Treat those with opposing arguments with respect, even though you disagree and please try and avoid personal remarks. I live in hope!
Sorry if I've done it myself - you'll point it out to me if you ever catch me being catty, won't you? Thanks.
