Yes, but.... You may still qualify for a reduction if the Ukrainian guest(s) is claiming benefits or has zero income. On the plus side, this £350 payment appears to be tax free, although I don't know if that is in addition to other tax breaks such as the Rent a Room allowance.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

And what vetting is going to be done about the people offering their homes to vulnerable individuals? Previous refugee crisis have not been on the scale of the Ukrainian crisis. Many of these refugees will want to return to their country if possible.3 -
