That is correct. How should they be numbered or bullet pointed?Coupon-mad said:I take it these will be your point 3, 4 and 5 to add to the template defence?0 -
Like I said. With numbers. Then re-number below.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That's what I assumed. That will make the below paragraph number 8.
8. The facts in this defence come from the Defendant's own knowledge and honest belief...
Can you confirm when I should send GS my defence please?0 -
The CCBC will send a copy of your defence to the claimant but we have recently started advising posters to do this as there have been problems at CCBC where defences have not been copied to claimants plus it is actually required in the CPRs as advised recently by one of the lawyerly types posting on the forum. CPR 15.6. Same deadline if you decide to do it.3

So I got the SAR back that I requested and there are letters in there which are Demand for Payment that I've never seen or received. Is there any standing on this?0

There's no other address it could go to. It's addressed correctly too.0

Hey folks,
So an update. I filed the defence, sent a copy to GS. They have since sent a defence back to the CCBC and I've had a letter to say it's continuing with a N180 attached.
Should I get a copy of the Claimants Defense as they have a copy of mine?
The letter below is the one I received from the CCBC and as you can see they have crossed out a copy is enclosed.
Any information would be greatly appreciated as always.

Only the Defendant produces a defence, the Claimant produces a claim (Particulars of Claim as shown on the N1 you have already received). Both parties will later need to produce their own Witness Statement and evidence which will need to be sent to each other by the deadline provided by the Judge at the allocation stage - after you have completed and returned the Directions Questionnaire. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
