The loss to the claimant for not paying the original ticket fee is minuscule compared to the amount that is being requested on the CCBC.
Of course it is. That's why so many people, including Parliament, are determined that this must change.

As I said earlier, CCBC = County Court Business Centre. Nothing else.

On the CCBC, Particulars of claim, written by the Claimant legal rep they have quoted a wrong date compared to the original PCN's received.

Ah... perhaps we are getting nearer.

Are you saying that the Claimant has stated the wrong date of the parking event in the Particulars of Claim on your Claim Form?

That looks like it might be a fatal flaw.

And once again... CCBC stands for County Court Business Centre.   ;)

If it is believed that the defendant doesn't have much of a case to defend on do they at least have the standing to reduce the claim being requested? The loss to the claimant for not paying the original ticket fee is minuscule compared to the amount that is being requested on the CCBC.
Nope, you won't get it reduced, far too early to think about this and no point trying.

Defending the claim reduces it to zero in most cases as about half are discontinued.

If it does go to a hearing, that reduces the claim because the added fake costs are no longer allowed by order of Government.

If the wrong date is merely the date of the PCN in the post, that's not wrong.  How wrong do you mean?

When quoting the CCBC I'm just talking about the form itself. Should this be referred just as the Claim Form?

So if the the dates are consistent in the defendants case like 1st,2nd,3rd of whatever month. On the Claim form it has been written as 1st,2nd,2nd. I hope that makes sense as I'm trying to not give any specifics to the case as advised.

Ah OK, so you can deny that there were two parking charges on 2nd.  You then don't have to mention the one on 3rd, as it doesn't feature in the POC.

Yes it's the claim form.  CCBC is a building and admin centre in Northampton.

Well that's a positive. I will take photos of the signage at the site, in similar conditions as to when I parked. Will this be helpful and would this forum appreciate seeing that information?

Would I need to edit the photos when posting to hide any identifying features?

It would be helpful to see the signage and particularly what they say, so nice and legible please. We can then see if there's any help for you within their wording. There's no need to redact any detail on them.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There is another thread on right now with this exact scenario. Following that might help as it could give you a defence on contract forming
Any chance you know the title of the thread so I can find it easily. Much appreciated.
