Santander UK

Good Evening

Securing Your Device

Enter your security number

MY MOBILE NUMBER.

Finally. At the bottom there is the FSCS symbol.

This is on my Android mobile fone over 4 web type pages, in total, that open in quick sucession.

It is accessible via the Android navigation button, some times called the Overview button.

I've no idea how, or where, it came from.

What's going on?

Please do not suggest ringing Santander. Creating a forum post is normally far quicker.

Thank you to all responders.

I don't understand your post.  What, exactly, is the problem?

What are you trying to do?

And by what method (app? website?).

After what line? What denotes a new line? What is now accessible via the 3 line navigation button?

    Thanks for  responding.

    Please reread my OP.

    I don't understand what's going on. Scam?

I'm not trying to do anything.

The page/form i get is as described in the thread title. Each "commer , "  in the thread title DENOTES a new line on the form.

The form was  accessible via the Android  navigational button lll , 1 of 3 at the bottom of most Android sreens.

In the app or on a website?

    Or from a text?

    From an email?

So the message on your phone was

    Santander UK

    Good Evening

    Securing Your Device

    Enter your security number

     - - - - -

I've removed the commas (no need for quotation marks).

Do you have a "security number"?  Usually one supplies selected digits from such numbers so that message does look suspicious.  However, I don't have a Santander account and have nothing actually useful to say.  Sorry.

Thanks for your great post. I've copied/pasted your large font to my OP, I'm not sure how to change the  font size in my posts.  :)

    Plus

    __  __  __  __  __

    1234567890  (represents my real/correct mobile number. )

The security no. is the 5 digit reg number, customer pin, Google Santander log on.

Please appreciate most of the info asked for is not known.

No one does, as your OP is missing all the relevant information.

Where is the message coming from? What are you trying to do?  What device are you using? What?
Don't know. Get some answers. See OP. What?

I can only assume I'm one of the 1st to receive what appears to be a very dangerous phishing attempt.

    Tks 4 your response
