All done and dusted ..... case dismissed.

    Paraphrasing:

Judge asked me to confirm my correct and incorrectly entered VRM.

He then turned on the claimant and asked why they didn't accept the £20 in accordance with the BPS CoP, to which the response was 'The defendant didn't enter the VRM in accordance with the T&C's'.

He then asked why it wasn't picked up during the appeals process - again no answer.

The judged stated he was very unimpressed Excel had brought this case to court, he complimented me on my well constructed case and apologised for the obvious waste of my time. He didn't award costs (as I naively confirmed no loss of earnings - the case only took 10 mins).

I really enjoyed that!! Probably something to tick off the bucket list actually (so thanks Excel).

Thanks to everyone and this great forum for the help.

Excellent result and great feedback. That will have cost Excel for their losing advocate and their own time in putting together a hopeless case. Nice one. 👍

ANOTHER EXCEL ONE BITES THE DUST
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Yay!  Well done.  Scam OVER....

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?

Looks unlikely to be published before Xmas, but keep your eyes peeled in early 2023.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens.

Sorry if you knew all this already - I had no time to check back through the thread.

The answer is "They are Greedy Scammers, who like to pick and choose facts, and ignore the truth in favour of pursuing people aggressively in the longer drawn out bullying scam so they can tax people for more money"!

Well done on beating these shameless bullies!
