Thanks all!
Stayed with friends last night which was lovely and now pitched and settled in our lovely campsite. Cooked our classic fresh pasta and sauce camping dinner this evening.
In exciting news, I had a phone call earlier and I’ve won a three-night stay at a fancy hotel, including afternoon tea and dinner! Absolutely thrilled about this and looking forward to it already!
Visited a bird reserve on our way here this morning and have signed up for RSPB membership - not so MSE (although actually the way they do it is very fair) but very good for the environment (and we’ll use it as offsetting for our flights to Greece).Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

What lovely news on the win - well done!
We love our RSPB membership and definitely feel it's good value for us (Although we signed up under their old scheme which means we pay *whispers* not very much at all - to be hones though we'd probably still stay members even if it did increase! The cafe's - the proper ones, not the "drinks machine and prepacked sarnies" sort - also tend to be very good indeed - the one at Minsmere is a proper favourite of ours!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
