Popping in to say I've discovered the pack of singapore noodles in the fridge from Olio last night - so that's dinner sorted - will add some peppers from the freezer, carrots, think there's some mushrooms left for Mr MV.
Veg box has arrived - was very pleased to finally have a cup of tea with milk that was not on the turn!
It's flipping cold here again today - and rain forecast for tomorrow. I want to know when it is going to warm up! Heating has been off here since 1st April, barring a couple of quick boosts, but it's miserable being chilly all the time again.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Oof, I can't do without my hot drinks, you're very strong to wait till you get the milk from the veg box 😃
Very changeable weather here right now, but none of it is cold: sunny, overcast and hail, these have been my experiences today 🤣 Hope you get warm soon.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
No one said anything about waiting! I’ve had several not very nice cups of tea today instead! 🤣 Which reminds me, after my last post I intended to put the kettle on, but I saw the leftover bread in the kitchen and decided to take it over the road to the charity shop (they freely distribute it). Got eggs and cheese (cheaper than T’s) at Coop while I was there. Then decided to jump in shower while sun was out (it’s electric), to minimise grid use… time for that tea now!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Oh milk that's just going over is filthy isn't it - thankfully I use skimmed as a rule, and very little of it, so it doesn't affect me too badly! I'm very pleased that you have some fresh now! You've just reminded me to check my co-op offers too - only 20p off milk this time, but it still just makes it cheaper than elsewhere I think...and they have a 50p off marmite one that might be the other one for this week. I’m afraid my Coop offers weren’t so healthy today - they led to an unnecessary pack of Maryland cookies - a bargain at 75p though (these days!).Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Morning all,
Still busy with work this morning and main client has sent another piece of work through for when I've finished this. I've got a few places to go when I visit the cat shortly, so I'm going to take the car (Mr MV is wfh today). I need to buy more chicken for the cats' (Costco), loo roll (Sains) and am collecting a couple of bread bits from an Olioer - all in different directions and rather a lot for my backpack to cope with.
I am determined that while we'll go to the pub tonight, we will eat at home - I don't want it to become a regular 'eating out' thing. The fridge has a random selection of bits that need using up, so I think dinner may be something along the lines of daal, fried potatoes and tomatoes, roasted parsnips (for me) and a shared flatbread (with salady bits too potentially). We have chocolate muffins from Olio if we need a bit more. Lunch might be a panini or a bagel (as I'm about to pick up some bagels).
MS things:
* £5 withdrawn from a bookie - and a few niceish HW wins. Very unimpressed that I couldn't use my £1 free bet from L4dbr00kes to bet on the WFA Cup this weekend - no women's football on their website by the looks of it. 😡
* Picked up a good platform job yesterday and got that done before Mr MV got home (he was late).
* PA survey this morning (£29 cleared and £7 pending)
* 1P now 5p off of payout - no doubt I could be waiting a while there!
* YG survey done
* Small Ebay sale (for in-laws) that should mean I get the postage cost
Gratitudes:
* I have the car today - I think my legs will be grateful! (Will still be cycling down to the pub later)
* Plenty of work
* Satisfied platform customer

Afternoon all,
My baby chillis and pepper arrived from SL yesterday morning and are doing well. Thanks again @Suffolk_lass!Yesterday I took my bike for its first (free) service. A bit of a pain as the shop is about 50 mins away, but worth it. I enjoyed a £1 Cafe Nero (thanks to Three+) and a croissant (which I shouldn’t have had) while I waited. Also purchased an inner tube for a 20” wheel as we only have big ones. In the afternoon I did some comping and then we went to our friends’ for takeaway (£27). Mr MV won an each way bet on the National, but we were down overall (our PP account keeps the money from the last year for the next year’s National - but we may have to fund it next year - only £4 left now!).
This morning have been to cat-sitting charge and managed to break litter tray, so have had to replace that (£3.50, so not the end of the world and entirely my fault). Lunch is going to be eggs on muffins (olio), but not sure about dinner yet.
MS things:
* Clicks etc - withdrew £5 from one bookie, but due to cash shortages as I only keep a very small balance in my current account I’ve left this in there.
* Ordered some sealant for our camping mattresses so hopefully we don’t breed to replace them. Bought from Am as that’s where the link on the guide sent me - free del because of prime trial and I use voucher balance for all but 14p
Gratitudes:
* Manchester utd women are through to the FA cup final - Mr MV supports them and we have tickets for the final!
* lovely time with friends last night
* wildflowers on way home from cat sitting
Have a good Sunday all! I should be out sowing seeds/at the allotment, but it’s not sunny and it’s just cold. When will spring actually arrive?!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
