This is normal and our advice has been to carry on with the email tennis. Do not let thd PPC have the last word. One person is still doing it since last year, I recall!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all
It went all back and forth and I had the last word before the operator stopped responding and now the appeal is awaiting adjudication! What is going to happen from here now? Will I be appearing in a court?
Thanks0 -
Will I be appearing in a court? Not unless a court claim is issued against you. Beyond that, it's crystal ball gazing. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you move address, tell the operator in writing to erase your old address but apart from that, ignore everything unless you get a LBC or claim (see 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread at that stage, if it ever happens).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I guess the next step will be to wait for LBC!?0 -
Have you exhausted landowner complaints? If so, then yes, await a LBC and then a court claim within six years, which is why it will be important to tell the DPO of the PPC if you move home. You would need to tell them to erase your old data and replace it with your new address for service.

buchUb said:Morning guys. I really want to thank you all for your valuable advises so far. I have written back to the operators response via IAS but they keep on repeating the same thing. I am getting frustrated and this is causing me stress as in how long will this be going back and forth! Kindly check the screenshots of my response and their reply, and advise :-(The IPC signage audit is unlikely to have been done on site or recently, the COP which sometimes makes little sense states:Schedule 5 – Auditing
All Operators must comply with the IPC audit process. Before any Operator is able to
access DVLA data for the first time they will pass through a thorough and stringent
auditing process. Audit focus will be on the lawfulness of members’ operations and
the security of Driver details or Keeper Data. Audits may take place either by a physical
attendance upon the member’s offices (a ‘physical audit’) or sites or remotely (a
‘remote audit’).Which suggests it's an office based audit on joining and looking at their generic signage master copies and does not prove the physical signage on site conforms, is legible, in place or current.I would ask for their last IPC site audit report with dated photos.

Hi Everyone. I have received a CCJ now and it is on my credit history. I tried to rent a flat recently and my application was rejected because of this :-((
I have attached the letter here. Kindly advise what needs to be done from here! Thanks0 -
On the 10th April, you posted the expected rejection of your IAS appeal. Since then, are you telling us that you did not receive a LoC or an actual N1 claim? Obviously, they had your correct address for the appeal and for this default judgment.1

What date does it state for payment deadline? If that hasn't passed and you pay it, there will be no CCJ on your record.1
