Jet2 Charging 2 different costs for the same flight, is this allowed?

Hi all,
trying to purchase flights to Alicante from LBA in August and if select return the outbound is roughly £55 each for 6 of us.
However, the return leg is circa £190 but only £90 with Ryanair. So, I was trying to book Jet2 outbound and coming back on Ryanair.
If I select single journey from to Alicante from LBA in August with Jet2 the cost jumps from £55 to £100. With 6 of us that's £260 additional for the same goods/services, I thought this wasn't allowed?
Thanks in advance.

It is very common for one-way flights to be more expensive than a return flight (with the exception of low cost carriers that sell 2 x one-ways as a return)
Have a look at BA for example...one way flight to New York from Heathrow 23rd March is £1,781
add a return flight to come back on 30th and the whole ticket price is £452...same flight out is £1,400 cheaper if part of a return ticket0 -
Yes, it's allowed.
Be careful booking separately. If for example the Jet2 outbound flight was cancelled, you would still be on the hook for the separately purchased inbound Ryanair flight.1 -
One way flights usually add fees on. So it might look cheaper but then when you don't select another leg, they add fees.
