  • I am feeling bad i didnt post yesterday but i was moneysaving. Dd had her club, took her home and she went to her friends yesterday, i dropped her off and went to see my mum on the way as it wasnt far out of my way.
Today has been a relaxed day, stayed in, spent nothing, had a voucher from a survey come need to decide where it is best spent. Had a lovely roast dinner it was delightful, OH wanted to order some desert i talked him out of it (he has his own spends but its just a waste)
4 loads of washing done today and all dried outside (well the last load is out now but will go on airer when it drops darker) £3.75 on energy already but it will save in the long run if the weather turns as didnt cost me anything to dry it, all washing put away and a quick bath shortly, i should use the shower i just need a soak to help my back as i am feeling a bit rough today.
Tonight's plans are to relax with oh and dd watch some tv and an early night to get back into the routine. I have managed to do some prep work which i am glad about and sorted the issue with the tickets.
I am happy to report i won £25 uber eats voucher its made my day, can take upto a week to come through but looking forward to that treat!

    Tomorrow's plans:
Meet with a friend in the morning, prob at her home due to her small kids its easier for her.
    General housework
    Print prep work
    Print and sort tickets
    Nsd - hopefully
    All food from stores.
Make some plans for my spare time in the week so we arent wasting the week.
Start looking at diy tasks for xmas decorations and what i have, my mum is keeping jars as i want to make some jam and chutneys, insipred by other diaries. I also want to look at making homemade flavoured gin as gifts, will look into that as it could be a nice gift thats money saving too....i hope anyway!
  • Today is going well so far. Getting through my list, not a NSD as I used my voucher along with a discount for a new photo for my living room that has had a bare wall for about 3 years, if not longer, cash spent £2.50 just waiting for the message to say its ready for collection, met with a friend which was a lovely few hours, dd did not want to come home! Tickets all done (or they will be finished in 5 mins) done some housework just waiting for dd to finish eating then i will hoover up and put tea in ready for later.

I am feeling really motivated today, with OH being at work it has given me and dd some normality and routine which has been nice.

Not sure of the plans for tomorrow yet so best get a move on and make some shortly!
  • Today has been another lovely day, spent a few hours with a different friend, dd played with the kids lots of board games etc. Took dd to her club, were out tomorrow for the day so topped up some bits for a packed lunch and something quick for tea as todays tea i will do tomorrow as it is a sc meal so we have food for when we get back! £21 spent on food and £25 on petrol. Total food spends £172 so far.  Dd had a bath earlier, saved the water and i am just jumping in and topped up a tiny bit with warmer water. Once i have had my bath i will do the sandwiches for tomorrow so they will be ready to put into bags. 1 load of washing done and dried outside today and energy is currently under £3 i think due to me and dd not being in all day so i hoping it will drop down when we are back at work and school next week.
Thursday i need to start thinking of a top up shop with school and work lunches and organise a gym trip this week.
I am going to try and have an earlish night as i need to be up early tomorrow for the day trip, i am not looking forward to the early morning but it will help ready for next week.
  • Yesterday was a good day out. Spent £40 yesterday on pictures, drinks and ice creams i dont think that was too bad. We also used my Uber voucher i won, so tea cost £7 extra on top of the voucher but it was a feast and after walking yesterday the only way i was eating last night  I am feeling really tired today despite nearly 11 hours sleep. Planning on  ot doing much this morning, well whats left of the morning.

The weather is meant to change tomorrow so will try and get the last of the washing done today so it can be dried outside, i also want to make a start on ironing the school uniforms so i think i will start this afternoon.

Moneywise today is a hsd as i am having my hair done, shws not expensive and i havent had it done since May...it looks a state.

    Todays plans
Relaxing morning drinking tea and healing my body.
Plan a gym session for tomorrow
Make a start on ironing school uniforms
Make a phone call for shopping voucher for my friend.
Make a phone call about day out yesterdsy.
Do all washing including trainers (as they got wet yesterday and are disgusting and dry outside
    Polish all through the house
Collect new click and collect item
    All food from stores.
Do shopping list for next week and place click and collect order for over the weekend.
    Have hair done later today
    Half an hour of competitions
Try and do some surveys too.

Right im going back to rest my eyes....
  • Yesterday needs a take 2, i ended up having an afternoon nap for 2 hours and did not do much on my list...oh well i did need it. Then i had all the best intentions to wake up early today again that hasnt happened but i have the next 2 early mornings due to dds clubs to help get me back in my routine.

    Todays jobs include:
Make a start on ironing school uniforms
Make a phone call for shopping voucher for my friend.
Make a phone call about day out - i did this yesterday but need to call again for an update.
Do all washing and dry outside
    Polish all through the house
    All food from stores.
Do shopping list for next week and place click and collect order for over the weekend.
    Half an hour of competitions
Try and do some surveys too.
Go out with dd and oh tonight as they had a spare ticket.
Print out all work prep done for work.

There is a lot repeated from yesterday so i need to actually get some motivation to get going this morning, well what is left of the morning.

  • I am getting through my list today, finished some more work stuff, could have taken half an hour but ended up 1.5 hours as i did it properly and it looks so much better for it, just hope my boss likes it! All phone calls done and sorted, housework done just need to sort tea and put washing outside for an hour then on the airer to finish.
Will try and fit in competitions and surveys too!
  • Another bright and sunny Saturday morning here.

Yesterday unfortunately i did not manage to get surveys or competitions done, however oh is at work tonight so I will do some tonight. Yesterday was a NSD except for the food shop but that comes from a different pot. I did go out with OH and dd last night and it was lovely having a few hours together doing something different. We have also been making plans for dd birthday, i need to sort her main present out, again thats on my list for this week sometime i just dont think i will yet as the deals haven't been amazing.
I did my click and collect, it came to £32 so my total for the month so far is £204.
Whilst not an overly exciting day today it will be productive.

    Todays plans
Dd has her club, will take drinks.
Quick wash my clothes and dry outside as it is bright and sunny this morning
    All food from stores
    General housework
    Collect food shopping
    30mins of competitions
    30mins of surveys
Put mountain of clean clothes away
    Change beds
Look into ideas for dd main birthday present.
    Book day out tickets
Book tickets for an event (OH is paying)
Speak with OH about going out for a charity evening.

I think thats enough to start me off for today.

Adter a busy week back at work, i have returned. I have been trying my best with money this week, i did get a takeaway Tuesday, £8 50 soent. I have had an awful cold and been unwell all week so not much has got done by me, oh has had a busy week trying to do everything else.

My foof shopping was delivered yesterday £48 spent bringing my total to £252 for the month, i still have 2 weeks to go due to a 5 week month so it will be tight

The energy has been high as we have had to use the dryer, not great but we need clean clothes and it has been pouring down all week here.

    Todays plans
    All food from stores
    Get petrol
Take dd for a new coat and some skirts (oh is paying)
Lsd maybe as been invited to a party tonight but still not feeling 100%, oh is at work so it will be me and dd.
Put away my mountain of clean clothes
Take dd to her club and take drinks and snacks with us.
    Change beds
    General housework
    Order dds main birthday present.
Start a list for smaller presents, need to get this done asap.
    30 mins of competitions
30 mins of surveys, again i haven't done these this week but i just havent had the energy.
Due to the energy costs, my aim is to keep my energy under £4 today as it is a realistic aim when we are washing clothes and needing to dry them inside esp with the heating not being on yet.

Right I am going to make a start on my day!
  • Well another week just disappeared!
Been somewhat money saving but not great, promised dd a takeaway as i had won a voucher online and typically it didnt work...so had to pay for it as she was so excited bless her! Also today had to pop into the shop for some vape liquid and something to go with lunch £7.50 spent otherwise i would have been hungry all day! Food shopping came, £48 spent which includes some goodies for the extra days off, ive saved some bananas from the bin, they will be banana bread tomorrow. Need to but some frozen veg but i have some nectar point i can use and work it out to £1 more so i am hoping for £1 spend, will do that tomorrow.

I will need petrol but will get £30 and make it last until payday in 11 days! Beyond that i am planning no more spends this month as it is tight esp woth dd birthday coming up, managed to get her a new phone (she already has a cheap contract phone and will offset the difference by mine and ohs phone upgrades when we go sim only in the next months) also will trade in an old phone for £150 cashback with dds new phone and that will go in the Christmas pot. This year i am bring careful and dropping a lot of people off the list, will make a list of who to buy for and start looking when i get the cashback.

I am planning a no spend October (famous last words) if i dont need it and i cant eat it or put it in my car it is not happening, i am worried i am falling into old ways so plan on nothing after tomorrow except for dds clubs and nothing for next month....

I will try and check in each day this weekend as its harder when im at work all day as i am wiped out after tea is done...

    Tomorrow's plans
    £30 petrol
Buy frozen veg using nectar point £1 budget to spend
    Make banana bread
    All meals from stores
Take dd to club and take drinks with us.
Oh at work, so finish watching a film me and dd started in the week, under a blanket.
    General housework
Change the beds to warmer bedding
Keep energy under £4...this is currently working as oh is managing to dry everything outside in the day!
    Put clean washing away
Clean my car inside...this is desperately needed!
Dry all washing outside if possible
    Do 30 mins on surveys
Find an outfit for an event on Sunday...small family gathering = free food will buy me and dd a pop each whilst oh at work and we will then have an afternoon out for less than £5.

I think i am going to have a quick shower then pjs on under a blanket and watch something funny on tv.
