  • Have just sold another £85 worth of things on Amazon and through the local paper. Thanks to this I now have a tank full of petrol (hopefully nearly two weeks worth), £25 in my wallet, enough food till Saturday and £730 going onto my bank account at the start of next week. Very nearly enough to pay the bills on 1 Feb :j :j :j :j

OH still a bit ill but he will be hitting the agencies at the end of the week so hopefully next month he will be able to help with bills.

Of to change my sig now.

Thats really good news that you have almost got together the money that you need to get you through the month.

You should be proud you have done really really well :)

  • Thanks Sammiboo

It was more luck than anything else really. I am just happy I have things lying around that I can sell and that I'm moving so I need to sell them anyway.

The awful thing is that before I got into this mess I was just throwing things away all the time. Now at least I am getting some money back for things I worked to buy.

  • I am so stupid

When I sold the computer I got one letter wrong and sold it under the wrong spec

I cannot believe that I did that and the worst thing is I probably would have sold it under the correct spec anyway as I still had the lowest price by far. How stupid

I am sure he will ask for a refund now and then I'll have to give back £610 and I'll have lost the £20 postage. He'll probably send it back te me normal post and it'll get broken or something. That would be just my luck.

I can't believe this. Now I still need to find a way to get £650 before the end of the month.

  • Well that's it. He has asked for a refund and now I have to try and sell the computer again. I have already posted it (under the proper spec) on Amazon again and if it doesn't sell by the end of the month I have no idea what to do!

  • Still haven't sold the computer. I did get it back today in perfect condition so I am happy about that. Only sold a few DVDs. Really not much.

We have seen pictures of the flat we will probaby be living in when we move overseas. Looks really nice. Three bedrooms and 130 square meters. That makes it three times bigger that our flat now!. And the rent is way lower that our mortgage payments at the moment.

Just a bit stressed as I don't know how I am going to pay the bills yet.

I've always managed to get out of tight spots before but this one is getting a little too tight. Not sure I can manage it this time.

  • Well I have so far got £85 for my target and there is another £45 waiting in my Amazon account to be transferred. I have just listed some more stuff on there worth about another £45 if it all sells. And then there is the issue of the computer. If only I could sell that!

Basically I have a grand total of £130 towards my £750 target.

I have also put about £100 worth of classified ads in the local paper so I hope that some of that sells. Then I have put ads on the Tesco notice board for the sofa and TV. But I have had no interest in those yet.

  • Still have not sold the computer and I will be away all week now for work so I won't be able to get much money making done. Will get free food all week though and won't be using so much petrol as usual.

I have put a whole load of ads in the local paper but they haven't gone in yet. There must be a long waiting list. I hope I'll make about £100 out of them.

If the weather wasn't so bad I might consider a car boot sale. Though I have no idea how to go about it.

  • Have just got back from being away for a week from work.

And also I have just been paid and was paid my full wage :j

So I will hardly get paid anything next month as I am only working for about two weeks in feb and the extra holiday I took will have to come out of there.

But this month I will be able to pay the bills :j :j

    But only just.

It will be really hard to figure out what I need for next month now as I don't know how much I will get paid.

I will take a very negative view and say that I only get paid £400. And I need £550 for bills and £365 for my loan.

  • It is going to be a very bad week!

Amazon have put my seller account on stop for a review and I have no idea why???? I have 100% positive ratings so far so I don't know why they would do this. That means I can't sell anything and it could take them up to 30 days.

Does anyone know what this means? Have I done something wrong or has someone complained about me?
