Every time I log in to Facebook
I have to remove up to 100 "friends requests" from people that I don't know (Greek, Russians etc)
How do I stop them in the first place?

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

My only options are Everybody or Friend of Friends
Everything else is set to. "only me"

Friends of friends stops the randoms from making contact. Change it to that if you haven’t already. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

So these requests have to have mutual friends with you. Maybe your friends just accept anyone as friendsMouldyOldDough said:It was already set to f of fBut still.got heaps of requests1 -

You cannot stop them , there is no option .
Only options are what you see above , there is no turn off all

Then why bother being on Facebook? Its purpose is to stay connected to friends!MouldyOldDough said:
Why would anyone want to "share friends" anyway?cx6 said:Maybe it's just one particular friend that has all these friends.

There are other functions of Facebook than to connect with friends. I use FB almost exclusively for information about places I want to visit. There are often Groups specific to a location. I join when I need them and then leave the group when it's no longer relevant. I was once accused of being a troll because I only have about a dozen 'friends' on FB.
