Electric meter rates wrong

So Scottish power cannot update my meter to the correct tariff , they can get meter reads from it but can't update the tariff. Bet if the rate on meter matched my bills they would update it quick enough.1

They might not be as cheap as your current fix but are likely to work out cheaper than the general market once your fix ends.

Pedant warning. The gas usage shown on your IHD and your bill may be slightly different. The communications hub contains a gas proxy meter that takes the volume of gas used every 30 minutes from the gas meter and it converts it to kWh. It then sends this information to the IHD. Though necessity, the gas proxy meter uses a fixed calorific value whereas actual billing uses an average calorific value taken from the Grid.
