Best price is at Costco, but you need to be a member.
10p a litre cheaper, they only sell premium diesel so about 15p cheaper.

I second Costco. Last fill up which was last week at 144.7 for diesel.
Was higher in November. I now have a Morrisons 7p off voucher which will take it down to 143

If you can get Costco membership and close to their stores their fuel will almost always be cheapest.

Presumably Costco just do fuel as a loss leader? Was surprised when my partner told me how much cheaper Costco fuel is and was wary of quality but sounds like it should be fine?

Many say that Costco fuel is higher quality to supermarkets. They have their own additives that apparently do work.

Costco make almost all their profit on the membership fee. Margins on everything they sell are around 2%.
So even if fuel isn't a loss leader, its likely very close to it, but effectively the £33 a year membership fee subsidises the cost.
  • The costs, for petrol, appear to be dropping over the last fortnight, 171. here, Somerset, now.
