Fuelled up the day Russia went in to Ukraine as I suspected fuel prices will shoot up. Was 1.53.9 at the time.
Saturday morning I go to work and see 1.55.9.
Thought you little piddle takers, you'll be on the same juice as you paid old rates on but hey ho business is business.
Finish work 9 hours later and it's back down to 1.53.9 :D

Best price is at Costco, but you need to be a member.
10p a litre cheaper, they only sell premium diesel so about 15p cheaper.

Yes a local garage in South East was the same price over weekend (not on a motorway)
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

I second Costco. Last fill up which was last week at 144.7 for diesel.
Was higher in November. I now have a Morrisons 7p off voucher which will take it down to 143

If you can get Costco membership and close to their stores their fuel will almost always be cheapest.

Unleaded was 1.409 yesterday at Sheffield but I've just swapped to EV. Also managed a full free charge work. :)

Beware and check the date the price was updated.  I was expecting to pay 163.9 but when I got there it was 185.9

Comparing prices online is a good idea in theory but in practice it builds up your hopes only to dash them.

Wish I hadn't bothered checking online.

The E5 -E10 switch was a massive con on the public.
Can't see the E5 price until you get to the pump and Asda does not do E5.

Those that can use E10 get worse performance and MPG.  Why are journalists and campaigners not all over this.
