So today was weird. I spent on my credit card... But the card is in a positive balance so technically didn't spend on my credit card 😅 I had to activate the pin again with the app as I haven't used it in so long!
The rest of the positive balance I'll spend on it to buy fuel as I stupidly over paid before the direct debit came out so it's £54 in the black now but it doesn't feel like real money!
Looking forward to Thursday evening to pay off some debt. It's been almost 2 weeks since the balances have come down so I'm getting the itch to pay off again! Not a bad habit to have! I think I've paid almost £700 off this month already which is just mad! Can't wait for it all to be my money again!

Today we went to the farm... Everything was pay by card only 🙃 so that was a bit annoying as I kept my cash from my weekly funds aside for today... Nevermind! My bestie bought the tickets so I bought lunch for the 3 of us, that coupled with a very expensive gift shop purchase I spent just over £30 for the day but we had a lovely time.
My bank pay landed in my account this evening so I kept the £44 to replace today's spends and then paid £100 to Fluid. Fluid has a £48 minimum payment to come out too for the 14th so we'll see if that comes out too, maybe tomorrow 🤔🤔
I spent some money today on self care stuff like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, wax for my legs 😅 etc so that should keep me going for a few weeks/months too!
I just checked all my balances and so far this year I've paid off £2367 which is insane! I'm pretty proud of myself, I've never done this much damage to my debt... Ever. I'm determined to get it gone!Life is too short not to love what you do.7 -

I love seeing the numbers tick down 😊
I smashed my target for the end of March and I thought it would be tough. Trying to work out what I should set as new target!Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)- DFD: September 1st 2023[/b]

Car passed its MOT! Just needs a couple of rear tyres (which I already knew) so that's a relief! I budgeted £100 for it, it only cost £45 so I'll use the £55 towards the new tyres probably in a month or so 🥰
Having a Diesel VW is always a little nail-biting for the emissions etc but all is good 😊😊
Looked after a young patient yesterday who put life into perspective and made me realise that just because you're young doesn't mean you have all the time in the world 💔 so need to get rid of this debt so we can live our best lives because we never really know how much time we have left and only one life to live it ❤️
But on a financial note. Yesterday's shift was a bank one and tomorrow is too so 💸💸💸 already can't wait for payday on Thursday night to tuck away some more cash!Life is too short not to love what you do.2 -

Had a bit of a lightbulb moment on the way home from work... I'm paying £50 a month for my overdraft and the number isn't reducing as it's just pure interest.
So instead of focusing on paying the £600 off of my fluid card (which is still crazy APR) I should be focusing on paying the £2000 overdraft because at least even if I pay minimums on the fluid account at least the balance goes down by a bit whereas the overdraft doesn't and I don't want to pay any more than I need to! So that's where my focus is going to from now on. I've made an extra £300+ this week from bank shifts so on Friday I am reducing my overdraft by £300 at least!
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend!Life is too short not to love what you do.3
