Sorry, I think I misread your posts earlier today.

You seem to be saying that you have received a Letter of Claim and you have not yet received a County Court Claim yet. Is that right?

You also said that the second one was at bailiffs stage, but that doesn't make sense since you must have already had a court date, and lost, and failed to pay the judgement to be at bailiff stage unless you got a set-aside approved by the courts.

Please be clear and concise with information you provide here.

Sorry I was under the impression that DCBL are bailiffs with the letters they send, that’s what’s made out. I mean debt collectors, the second was at debt collector stage. With you saying “I also said”? Is there something else may have said wrong? Just so I can correct it if so. Thanks

I meant "also" as in addition to KeithP's comments.

DCB Legal do act as bailiffs, but when they are acting as debt collectors or solicitors they usually add a comment that their correspondence is not subject to a court order, or similar wording.

Thanks. I wrongly thought debt collector was another word for bailiffs so I’ve learned something new today!

Just respond and remind them about the costs they wasted on claim number xxxxxx and would their client like a repeat?
