Didn't cut my old driver's licence in half before sending it back to DVLA

I’ve still got my old licence. Never sent it back when I applied for a new one and they’ve never followed up and asked for it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I never send mine back.Applying today, the DVLA web site states that if I renew online, they will include only a "car entitlement" which would remove my motorcycle category, along with all the other wacky categories. Certainly the DVLA online application needs careful attention.Mind you, I'm long past my motorcycling days. Last bike I rode was a Kawaski 900 and it was definitely fast.0

In fact I received it within a week.I didn't send the old one back anyway. I'm sure it said, then, to return after receiving the new licence. Nothing has happened because of that. I would return it if they provided a prepaid envelope or Freepost address though. That might sound like nitpicking but it does mean that there is no period between application and receipt when no licence documentation would be held, which could lead to problems.1

I never send mine back.I do have M/C entitlement but that wouldn't really bother me. No intention to ride a M/C, it would terrify me and probably others.I passed the M/C test when the Examiner just stood on the pavement and watched the candidate ride round a block of houses! Executed arm signals correctly and didn't fall off - pass. I think there were a couple of Highway Code questions too.0
