What happened to Hot Deals UK?

Does anyone know? I've tried searching here to see if this question had been posted already but nothing came up. I'm on IE7 and the whole site is completely screwed up on my screen, not sure if it's work in progress with the site or my cronky computer.
Anyone any ideas please? I'm lost without it!
Thanks, Lucy

I suspect they are attempting to fix the problems from the initial site upgrade

I think 'Ctrl+F5' is supposed to fix the display in Firefox.
It's a bit of a disaster by all accounts.Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......0 -
Oh dear. It has been a bit duff for a few days since they changed the way you search for companies, I thought that was just me but I guess it must be part and parcel of this redesign.
I wonder why they want to change it? The site was always really easy to use, I find it easier to get codes and stuff on there than on MSE to be honest. Or did..
I'm using IE7 now (as of 3 days ago - still getting used to it) but it still looks crap. Tried the F5 thing and the classic view but still can't get me head round it.
Thanks for your replies folks, at least it's not my computer going wobbly (for a welcome change  ).

Poor HotUKDeals. They've changed their entire site with updated forum software by the look of it. Whereas it used to be dead easy, all the hot deals on the home page, a nice alphabetical list of all the vouchers and a simple but easy forum. Now it is a complete shambles - the whole thing looks like it is trying to be too clever and it just didn't need any of that.
All in all a dreadful, dreadful shame. I hope they are big enough to back down and roll it back to the good old days (yesterday!)BE NICE - IT'S FREE!0 -
Why now?
I dont understand dont they realise people are under enough stress at this time of year?
HDUK was making my life so much easier, lots of the pressies i have bought have been from deals posted on there and now i cant find anything.0 -
Yeah, IE7 and Vista is completely screwed for me ... even with the 'classic' view, it only just works (lots of missing images, text all over the place). It was a bit unfortunate that they chose to do this before christmas/january sales ... I'd have left it until a quieter time of year.
Clearly they hadn't done proper testing of the site before they set it live ... I still love HUKD as it's free and saved me lots of money this year ... hopefully they'll sort themselves out.

HUKD was working then it wasn't in addition the RSS Feeds are no longer updating with all new posts a right dog's dinner of an upgrade. All should have been fully tested with beta testers (volunteer members) before going live i wonder if its a simple fix to return it to its working previous format.0

Lets hope so!! I think quite a few people will be disappointed with it being the busiest time for shopping.
Whatever did we do pre these kinda sites??? I rely on them so much, being a very skint mum of 2, I'm sure others are the same.
I'm wondering if it's something they were forced to do cos of the volume of visitors? A few times it's been impossible to log in cos of the numbers viewing the site. But I know nowt much about the technical side.0 -
HDUD was one of the easiest sites to use if you need a code quickly! It drives me mad when they change something that is so easy to use.
Bring back the old version!!!Sugarmouse Money Supersaver!!0
