Not too sure what you mean, but the company was Vehicle Control Services Limited.
The legal company was ELMS Legal, I believe. I may be wrong, as I think they had a change of legal representation.3 -
The person who turned up for the hearing for the claimant was probably from neither company - rather a rent-a-legal from LPC Law or similar.

Well done. How many of your class mates will have first hand battle stories like this? 😉dantheman02 said:
Thank you very much. I am a prospective Law student (starting in September), so it's nice to have a case under my belt already lol xD
Totally agree with you, learnt a lot today.
Thanks again.
What a great result. Surely if he boasting "knows the Judge and his family well" then he is declaring a conflict of interest. I'd pop a report to the SRA. He was trying to insinuate nepotism would be in his favour before even stepping foot into the court. He could just be Bull5hitting - but I'd say his behaviour is worthy of a note to thr SRA. Not the first Parking Legal to lie or be unprofessional.2 -

That's a good point, but the OP would need to know who he was, and for which company they worked.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Well done and congratulations on your win, but what a waste of everyones' time these tiresome claims are.
WRT costs read this
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/legal-system/small-claims/making-a-small-claim/
and also read CPR27.14(2)(g) about unreasonable behaviour costs, you may not get them as many/most judges are totally blind when it comes to these time wasting claims, but it will be good experience and it is not expensive. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
