Why would a FOI request answer the OP's question?ontheroad1970 said:
If you put a FOI request in, they have to reply within a set period of time. Pointless making assumptions.Deleted_User said:
Some council staff who think they are above anyone else may ignore your request, but when the head of the department gets an email from a councillor it can sometimes result in a different outcome.ontheroad1970 said:
Who will then email the council to get the answer. Nothing like adding an extra step to speed things upDeleted_User said:Forget emailing the council, find out who your local county councillors are and email them directly.
Provided the OP asks the right question, of the right authority, they should be able to provide the answer.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

PocketGPSWorld are showing verified SPECS all along that road from the M6 junction to just past the Broadway N roundabout. The majority seem to be for traffic heading towards the M6 but one stretch is showing as both ways. If you run down that road on Google maps you can see most of them.

Provided the OP asks the right question, of the right authority, they should be able to provide the answer. That's the whole point of the FOI Act. If a government (including local government) has the information you ask for, and can provide it without incurring an unreasonable expense, then they should tell you. There would be exclusions for people's personal information and confidential contracts. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Looks like an average speed trap camera, there’s probably another one somewhere along the road.0
