    Hi,

Does anyone know how long until the next step? My defence was received by MCOL on 14th March. Yet to hear anything further!

    Thanks.

The CCBC sent you a letter, or will send you a letter, saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence.
What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant.
It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.
Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a Directions Questionnaire as promptly as you might like.
Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course?

    Hi,

Just an update. DCB have sent a letter advising their client is proceeding with the claim and enclosed directions questionnaire. They have also offered to settle directly.

Am I right in saying that I should wait for the court to sent the DQ and then complete, ignoring any correspondence from DCB?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the court to send out the DQ from receiving defence? As above, I received the DQ from DCB Legal but have heard nothing from the court.

MCOL still says "Your defence was received on 14/03/2022" with no further update.

    Thanks.

    Form N180 has been received.

Do I have to post this back or can I email it?

EDIT: I have checked the newbies thread and various other posts, they all just say to complete and return the DQ, it doesn't mention whether you can return via email.
