Unlocking a LG K8 mobile phone help

Not a common phone and could not find much online but would anyone be able to help with unlocking this phone to all networks preferably cost free ?

Do you have a SIM with Tesco mobile? Can you ask them to unlock it?

No sim. I am just considering buying the phone but its locked to Tesco so wondering how difficult it would be to unlock as I am thing of going sim only with Smarty

They do say that you need to be a customer (ie have an active Tesco mobile SIM) to use their unlock service. Need to judge if cost of buying the handset + PAYG sim (min £10) is worth it since, of course, there's no guarantee the unlock will work.

Thanks. I did consider that but seems Tesco only do 12 /24 month contracts which I was hoping to avoid

Lacking any free unlock hacks from the internet, don't want to use Tesco's "free" service, don't yet have the phone to take to a bloke down the market.

And no guarantee that any of these methods would work anyway.

Time to walk away from this deal I recon.
