Good evening chums ,well its pretty windy but dry at the moment in north Kent.I had a fairly brick walk around the park as it was a bit too breezy to amble.
My friends son and daughter in law live in Manchester and are moving to Southport this Friday, What a day to be moving with the storm imminentI hope they manage OK.
My sis-in-laws feeling a little better this week, her daughter and son-in-law has registered her at their local Doctor so her pain meds can be controlled better They live in Westerham, but she lives in Bromley. But for the time being she will stay at her daughters house where she will be well looked after.
My DGD and her husband are enjoying their belated honeymoon in New York with her brother and his wife, she will miss all the excitement when she flies home this Sunday.
Just put some sausages on and will have them with mash and mushrooms and beans for dinner, proper comfort food. the mash and sausages came from the freezer so a little bit more wriggle room.
I spent the afternoon being fairly productive I went through all of my accounts to see what I can trim here and there and cancelled a few things online that I really don't need any more. I then finished off some more charity blanket squares so some sewing up to do tonight.
Tomorrow I shall drop my DGS at his part time job, we have so many roadworks around my area ,as a firm called City Fibre are laying new broadband cables, and the roads are all dug up locally, and then our local council decided in their wisdom that it would be a good idea to resurface some of the roads at the same time ,so everyone is complaining about the long queues to get anywhere .I shan't be going anywhere now as the weather is turning and will stay indoors in the warm.
But I have plenty of nice books to read, and I always have my trusty knitting to do while I'm listening to the wireless or watching TV.
I hope you all keep safe and warm and not venture out in the storm unless really necessary
keep safe chums
